New Service. Who dis?

Today was my first day on a new service. I came from my 2.5 week neuro rotation to my first peds inpatient block. Neuro was a much more focused service and adjusting to a general team with super complex kids was #rough during morning rounds. But my seniors were so helpful and made the transition 10x easier. I survived the day and took care of my patients. Nurses paged and I actually understood what was going on and answered questions. Correctly, might I add. Guess I’m really a doctor now.
