Solo Silver Lake Saturday

A few weeks ago I took a solo trip to Silver Lake to be amongst the LA hipsters I’d heard so much about. I was lured to the area by a day time flea market I’d read about on Google. I parked my car on a random street and set out to explore on foot.

I opened Maps and attempted to find this rumored flea market. As I was strolling I stumbled across a “fire sale” in an old church. How cool, I thought.

I walked in and was immediately attacked by dust. Like could not breathe. It was cute tho.

I contemplated picking up a few items for the crib but decided not to invite any ghosts to come home with me.

Then I went and got donuts at Blue Star Donuts.. Yum.

Took in more of the neighborhood and its cool art.

I wandered in and out of cute boutiques.

And ate Taiwanese-Chinese fusion at Pine & Crane

Then I went home, belly full and took a nap. Never did find that flea market …
